Learn how to use Krita's powerful features for speed and non-destructive illustration.
Instructor: Widhi Muttaqien
Krita is a graphic application comparable to Photoshop. But unlike Photoshop, Krita is free and open-source software. So, you don't need to pay anything to download and use it. Another thing that makes Krita different from Photoshop, is that Krita is more focused on digital painting. That is why in Krita, you can find many features related to digital painting that do not exist in Photoshop. If you need software for drawing or creating illustrations, then Krita will make you feel right at home.
If you have never used Krita before or even never used any graphic software such as Photoshop, Gimp, and so on. You don't need to worry. Because we will start from the very basics. I have carefully crafted the curriculum for convenience and speed. In sha Allah, you can master Krita quickly but through an easy and enjoyable learning experience.
So, join the course now! And start creating beautiful artworks using Krita.

Ok WOW.. WOW... Widhi, where do I even begin? THANK YOU. Not only was this a very in-depth Krita tutorial, but Widhi manages to teach you so many fundamental art techniques that this course could have easily been advertised as a great 'intro to drawing/painting' class. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Krita and this course.
I'm very satisfied with the course. It is well structured and the author explains his methods and workflow in quite elaborate detail. The language is straightforward and easily understandable although the narrator does speak with a strong accent. Looking forward to the addition of the line art and vector editing and vector+raster workflow that the author mentioned. Thank you!
So far, everything is explained in depth, clearly, and in ways that are easy to understand. Also, the teacher leaves a lot of useful tips!
I spent several frustrating days on a different Krita class from Udemy, but was getting nowhere. I decided to try this course. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting together a well developed course that is easy to follow and understand, even for a complete beginner like me.
A really good general overview of Krita and its features. I really enjoyed the painting tutorials. I've already improved my skills a lot. Thank you for a great course!
First of all, the instructor's mastery of technical issues apart from Krita is admirable. You immediately feel his dominance on the subject and this gives you confidence. It is difficult to find such educators, they should be appreciated.
The training is very well organized. According to a person who does not know the subject at all, it is explained one by one, but it is not dull. If you have some command of the issue, maybe you want to watch at x1.5 speed.
As for the pronunciation part, my native language is not English either, but I never felt the need to look at the subtitles, I think it's easy enough to understand. If anyone is having trouble, they can follow the subtitles, it's pretty consistent.
A proper beginners course. I like how the Krita basics are explained one after another in the first few sections, without any actual drawing techniques also being taught as well. Keeps things simple and concise.
So far so good I like the way he's explaining in depth everything, I used to work as a graphic designer and there's some information that I never knew.
