How to set the fixed size of an object in 3ds Max

Often we need to set 3D object sizes to a fixed value. This video will show you how to do this in 3ds Max.

We start by learning how to measure an object's dimension in 3ds max. Then we will use a special panel called "Transform Toolbox" to set the size of 3D objects. We'll also cover the differences in how the Transform toolbox behaves in newer versions of 3ds Max versus older versions of 3ds Max. It is something to be aware of as it deals with how the object will be scaled afterwards.

If you want to learn 3ds Max from the very basics until you can model a complex furniture or an interior scene, check out my courses on Udemy, or Skillshare. You can also check out my other courses here.
